COACH BOSTON OF YARDLINGS SEEKS SECOND PERSONAL WIN OVER EXETER

If history always repeats itself, Coach Chief Boston will be only too glad to have it happen tomorrow afternoon when his Yardling football team meets Exeter at Soldiers Field.

The last time he faced Exeter was back in 1935, when as part of the famous backfield quartet of Brooks, Boston, Lupien and Harding, he played an important role in defeating the boys from the New Hampshire hills 6 to 0.

Skip Stahley, who assumed head coaching duties at Brown this year, was coach in that year. But neither Stahley nor anyone else connected with the Crimson has seen another Yardling victory over Exeter since then.

And not only will Boston be out to see Exeter go down to another defeat but he will also be trying to chalk up the first official win of his coaching career, making his first official start since he took over Freshman duties this year.

Exeter's Second Game

It will be the first game of the year for the men of 1945, but the Academy has already played once, dropping a close contest to Milton last Saturday by a score of 19 to 13. It was the second time in three year's of coaching that Exeter Coach Bill Clark, former Dartmouth grid star, has seen one of his teams lose a game.
