Yale Baseball Game Moved Ahead to June 9

Double-Header to be Played Here, Crew Date Not Set

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Because the date for the Yale commencement has been moved ahead to June 9, the traditional Harvard-Yale baseball series, in which one game at least is played at each university, will be merged into a single double-header scheduled for June 6, at Soldiers Field.

In making this announcement, William J. Bingham '16, director of Physical Education and Athletics, further stated that the date for this year's crew races, tentatively set for June 19, 10 days after the Eli graduation, has not yet been definitely determined.

He said, too, that other intercollegiate contests, such as the baseball games with Dartmouth, may have to be shifted or cancelled because of conflicts in graduation schedules.

In addition the Varsity and Freshman basketball and swimming meets with Yale, previously set for February 14, are now planned for the 13th. There will be no change in the date for the Harvard-Yale track meet, however, which will take place as expected on May 23.
