Tyrants of Conditioning Class Get it in the Neck

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

What is called poetic justice was meted out in large measure yesterday, when the compulsory athletic program claimed as its first victims, two directors of the conditioning classes, Norman Fradd and Al McCoy.

Fradd lost his vice after three days of continual yelling, and had to have stand-ins, including Loren MacKinney and several coaches, do his shouting for him. But McCoy is the worst casualty, with a neck so stiff he cannot turn his head.

Following the suggestions of Henry Lamar and Lyal Clark, the football and Freshman basketball coach allowed himself to be led to the Indoor Athletic Building to be taught how to do the calisthenics he was going to give to his classes. But when the two conspirators urged the unfortunate mentor to do a double-flip, he landed on his neck, and brought on the sad condition he is in at present.
