Spring drill for the ROTC will begin officially on April 5, the Department of Military Science and Tactics announced yesterday. The regiment, drilling once a week, will be divided into batallions and batteries, and conducted in about the same fashion as in the past.
Organization has been complicated by the graduation of many cadet officers and by the fact that there is no longer a Military Science 2 class, but James H. Reynolds '43, cadet Lieutenant Colonel, is hard at work drawing up rosters from the depleted ranks of the regiment.
A large amount of voluntary work with compressed air trainers is expected, especially for the members of Mil Sci 3 and 4. The trainers will probably be set up on Soldiers Field, where they will be available from dawn to dusk.
