BRITISH TAKE SOCCER MEET

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Britain's naval airmen returned to Harvard Saturday to play Coach MacDonald's squad a re-match of the tie they had suffered the previous week. After a good five minutes, the contest ended to all intents and purposes, as the British ran away with both the A and B team games, 7 to 1.

In the A game, the British scored in the first two minutes of play as the result of a passing attack. Roger Lazarus tied it for the Crimson three minutes later, however, as he sallied down into Fleet Air Arm territory practically alone to tally what proved to be the lone score for the Harvard booters.

After the first minutes of the second team game, the superior weight and experience of the British held the Crimson on its own side of the field.
