Turning its attention to the many and growing problems besetting the reconversion of Harvard after the war, the Student Council last night named five of its members to a special committee to investigate the various phases of educational readjustment.

Working in cooperation with Dean Buck and Dean Hanford, the committee will delve into the problems of reorientation and rehabilitation of returning servicemen, the application of the G.I. Bill of Rights to these students, and also the possibilities of the retention of the current trimestral calendar.

Danner Heads Committee

Names to the committee were Douglas Danner '46, president of the Council and acting head of the Committee, Louis G. Hill '46, J. Richard Hunneman '46, Harish Mahindra '46, and Bud Thurman '47.

In addition to its own investigations, the committee will cooperate with the Administrative Board in questioning various Harvard men now in the Armed Forces about their educational desires and plans.
