Dartmouth's taste in trophies has improved with age, according to enraged residents of Kirkland H-33.

Stuart Falk '51 and Joel Rome '51 borrowed a shoemaker's exhibit to decorate their walls this fall, guaranteeing to pay the man $25 if they lost it. Sometime between 11 a.m. and noon Saturday, visitors from Hanover found the two not at home and took the trophy as a calling card.

Falk and Rome are desperate. They want it back. It's a full-length female leg, delicately covered with nylon and embellished with a blue lace-and-ribbon garter at the upper extremity.
