Williams Leaves for E.R.P. Talks in Paris

Professor John H. Williams last night left by plane for Paris to help plan long-range policies for the European Recovery Program.

He will be absent from his Economics courses for three weeks while he attends the informal conferences at the invitation of Robert Marjolin, secretary-general of the Organization for European Economic Cooperation.

Chief aim of the parley and of the OEEC is to assist the 16 ERP countries to dispense with outside aid by 1952, expiration of the present ERP. The OEEC works with America's Economic Cooperation Administration.
