Freshman Sextet Clubs Milton, 9-1

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A fast, scrappy Milton Academy team tangled with the Yardling hockey squad yesterday and left the Arena beaten, 9 to 1.

While the freshmen picked up their eleventh win from the Milton squad, they got an aggressive fight in return. The Crimson lines showed easy superiority and spent most of the game in their attack zone.

Coach Stan Priddy's first line again couldn't put the plays together, and the new second line, with Pete Lawson at center, scored seven of the nine goals. Lawson replaced Jack Snelling fairly well.

Milton Frustrated

Whatever potential power the Milton lines did have was dissipated as the frustrated squad was unable to break through the Crimson defenses.

Goals: First Period--Koch (Lynch, Timpson), 0:43; Hatch (Lawson), 2:16; Bliss (unassisted), 2:54; Harris (Hatch, Burke), 12:57. Second period, Hatch (Bills, Donolan), o:49; Hatch (Lawson), 1:58; Harris (Lawson), 10:51. Third period, Harris (unassisted), 6:39; Monroe (M) (Revere), 12:28; Harris (Lawson), 10:51; Wykoff (Harris, Lawson), 10:51.
