'52 Lacrosse Set To Meet Lawrence

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Freshman lacrossemen journey to Groton today seeking their second win of the season in their meeting with Lawrence Academy.

Most of the veterans of Saturday's game will be starting again tomorrow although Coach Dick Merryman's lineup merely contains "probable starters." Rip Lynch will be starting at one of the midfield spots, refilling the position he had vacated a week ago when he was knocked out of game play with injuries.

Dunk McCullum is perhaps tomorrow's most certain starter, after his outstanding play as goalie in Saturday's game.

Bob Baldwin, Saturday's high scorer, is another good bet at an attack position, and Ned Yost will probably accompany him at the crease. Yost represents an additional threat to the prop schoolers, for his brawn enables him to use a defenseman's stick in place of the regular attack implement.

George Bender will probably be the other attackman. Pete Lynch, Pete Brooks, and A1 Swawyer will be the first midfield; and Stan Braeger, Ned Maroney and Bill Spence are possible defense starters.
