Annual 'May Day' Bazaar Opens at Radcliffe Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Radcliffe's annual "May Day" Bazaar gets under way today at 11 a.m. in the Agassiz House living room. Activities will continue through 3:30 p.m.

Dormitories and clubs are joining this year in the project which includes food booths, fortune tellers procured by Bertram Hall, a ring toss sponsored by the Catholic Club, and a fishbowl-grab managed by Cabot Hall residents. The Pan American Club has the soft drink concession.

Second-Hand Clothing

The Yearbook staff will man a secondhand clothing booth for which students have donated used clothing. Used books and textbooks will also be sold at the merchandise stand, sponsored by the SDA and the Anthropology Club.

Radio Radcliffe will team with Saville House to sell raffle tickets for gift certificates. The Orchestra and Music Clubs are also lined up to sell gift certificates for music and records.

All profits from the bazaar, expected to run about $400, will benefit the World Student Service Fund.
