Two hundred and sixty-seven Radcliffe freshmen and 23 transfer students arrived in Cambridge today to take part in a three day orientation program, sponsored by the Annex Student Government. The activities will end Saturday with the traditional 'Cliffe "Orientation, Dance."

Upperclassmen officials who had been conferring at the annual Cedar Hill conference will welcome these newcomers with punches in each of the quadrangle dormitories. This reception, the first of it's type in the ten year history of Radcliffe orientations, preceded a second reception given by President and Mrs. Jordan in Moors Hall.

The new students gathered in Agassiz Theater Thursday night where they were greeted by Dean Korby-Miller and Dean Small and addressed by Jean O'Brien, '51, chairman of the freshmen orientation program.

The two day program includes registration, academic appointments, placements tests, tours of Radcliffe, Harvard, and Cambridge, and a tea in Agassiz.
