Varsity Booters Face Tech; Munro Juggles Lineup Again

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Bruce Munro will juggle his varsity soccer team lineup, even more today in an effort to find a scoring punch when the Crimson booters take on M.I.T. in their final home game on the Business School Field. The game begins at 2 p.m.

After last Saturday's 3 to 1 loss to Dartmouth, it became clear that Munro had not found the "finisher" he has been seeking ever since the season began. The Crimson scored only once in the last three games, although Munro has been changing the lineup every game.

Today Munro has two more men to pick from. Latsi Berger, injured in the B.U. game, and Jim Callahan, who has been ineligible, will both be ready today. Munro has not yet decided on the starting team, however.

The only sure starters are Charlie Ufford and Bob Sobel at the fullback positions, and Win Knowlton and Johnny Beer at right outside and right inside respectively. Either Roger Taylor or Captain Dick Craven will be in the goal, and at the three halfback posts will be Bob Harding, Larry Leonard, Humphrey Doermann, Callahan, or Bobby Dean. Bernard Florin, regular center half, has an injured shin and may not play.

Berger will probably start at center forward, with Frank Davies, Dana Getchell or George Baker at left inside. On the left wing, either John Harvey or Berk Johnson will get the nod.
