Upperclasmen living in Apley and Claverly have only a slim chance of finding vacancies in the Houses when the February graduates move out, the Registrar's Office said yesterday.
Although about 55 men will receive degrees from the College at mid-years, the Registrar said, most of them have already completed their course requirements for graduation at the Summer School and are therefore no longer in residence here. As a result, there will probably be no more than 11 new vacancies in the Houses. Most of them will be allocated as usual to present non-House residents in the order of their class seniority.
