In an attempt to keep women out of Yale undergraduate rooms during the late hours. John S. Nicholas, Master of Trumbull College, has presented to the Council of College Masters that students be allowed to drink in public University rooms.

Under Nicholas' plan, which was intended for this year's Harvard weekend, students would receive free setups at dances.

Under the present system, which has been in operation only two years, students are allowed to have liquor in their rooms, but they cannot drink in public rooms, generally, and dances, specifically. Because of this, there is a general rush back to the rooms for the last drink before the 11 p.m. date deadline.
