The varsity wrestlers will take a little bit of Harvard to Williams' Winter Carnival this afternoon, as they meet the Purple grapplers at 3:30 p.m. in Lasell Gym.
It shapes up as a fairly even match, possibly with each team winning four weight classes. Williams' strength falls from 137 through 167, and its top men are Bob Shorb, last year's freshman New England champ, and Bill Callaghan. Harvard can capture the first two classes, 147, and unlimited, at best.
Williams, like the Crimson, was beaten by Brown; in addition, the Ephmen have lost to the Coast Guard, tied Springfield, and beaten Wesleyan. The only change in the Harvard lineup finds sophomore Russ Harris at 157 in place of Ted Anderson. Howie Houston's freshmen are idle until Wednesday.
