"Music hath its charms" no longer at freshman meals, the Union executive committee decided this week. At its meeting Tuesday night it unanimously decided to discontinue the recorded tunes which had been playing at supper for two weeks, after a number of students complained about the noise.

The committee added another reason for stopping the mealtime melodies: while the Union's lone victroia was being used to play at supper, the music room was left without one.
