Feeneyites Win Fight To Sell Doctrine Book

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Four followers of Father Leonard J. Feeney have finally won permission to sell a book explaining their views, in Pittsburgh.

The four had been fined $25 apiece for selling books without a city permit, but the fines were returned. They insisted that members of a religious organization did not need a permit to solicit funds for religious purposes.

City Solicitor Frank J. McKenna said, "I certainly don't agree with their interpretation of Catholic doctrine, but they do have civil rights."
