"Opportunities Abroad" will be the subject of the fourth Conference on Careers program to be held at 8 p.m. tonight in the Dunster House dining hall. The emphasis of the discussion will be on business and financial opportunities in foreign countries.
Fitzhugh Granger, manager of the Foreign Operations Merchandising Services of the International Harvester Company, will discuss "Foreign Sales." Granger has traveled extensively abroad in connection with merchandising, sales promotion, advertising, market research, and public relations activities.
The second speaker will be W. Rogers Herod, president of the International General Electric Company, Inc., who will speak on "Manufacturing Abroad." A graduate of Yale, Herod has been with G.E. since 1919, taking time out only for government work.
"Banking and Finance Abroad," the third topic, will be presented by H. Harold Whitman, vice-president of the City Bank of New York. He is in charge of the Overseas Division of the Foreign Advisory Services.
