Carl E. Taylor 2PH., a student at the Harvard School of Public Health, won the $500 first prize in the Planned Parenthood League's essay contest.
The award will be made at John Hancock Hall tonight at 8 p.m., preceding a panel discussion on "Population. Point Four, and Peace," presented by the League.
Dr. Theodore H. Ingalls, associate professor of epidemiology at the School of Public Health, will be moderator of the panel.
Two other University students will receive awards, David H. Weinfeld '52, second prize of $250, and Walter R. Stahl IM, Honorable Mention of $10.
Tickets are available at the door, and are regularly $1.20, with special half-price tickets for students.
