The sailing team concluded its fall season over the weekend with a second place finish in the Timme Angsten Memorial Trophy event.
The race, which was held on the Scioto River, in Columbus, Ohio, was the Midwest's most important fall intersectional regatta. Last year the Crimson also took a second in this race.
The Crimson team of A. C. Langworthy, McKim Williams, and Tom Townsend came in only five points behind first place Ohio Wesleyan, and was 14 points ahead of third place Georgetown.
In the A division boat Langworthy was the skipper, while Williams assisted him. This combination gained a third out of the 11 A competition entries. Townsend, with a crew from Ohio State, was the high point skipper in the B division.
