No Coach for Skiers

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Although we don't have a coach yet, our team should be one of the best in years," Jay Murley, varsity manager, said at the University ski team's first meeting of the season last night.

Murley pointed out that last year's freshman squad had been outstanding and singled out Don Stephenson, Hans Robbins and Al Arkley as especially good sophomore prospects.

Practice Next Week

The team is scheduled to begin conditioning practice early next week and will have its first taste of intercollegiate competition in Lyndonville, Vt., on Dec. 29.

For the third year in a row the varsity ski squad, despite the handicaps of distant and doubtful practice areas, has been awarded a Class A team rating. This rating is based on the previous season's results in competition.
