Hungarian Violinist to Replace Burgin H.R.O. Concert Here

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Johanna Martzy, a young Hungarian violinist, will appear with the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra in Sanders Theater Sunday afternoon, replacing Richard Burgin, first violinist of the Boston Symphony.

Edwin H. Greenebaum '58, president of the orchestra, announced last night that Burgin had been forced to cancel the engagement because of a confusion over the date of the concert.

Miss Martzy made her American debut last week in Cincinnati and will perform with the New York Philharmonic next Thursday. She will play the Brahms Violin Concerto in her appearance here.
