Williams Injured In Car Accident

The Crimson squash team's hopes for a third straight undefeated season have been seriously harmed by an injury to Lou Williams this weekend.

Williams, who has been filling the second position on the team behind undefeated Vic Niederhoffer, cut his right wrist in an automobile accident Friday. The cast on his arm won't be taken off until Friday; he's definitely out of the lineup for the Penn match Saturday and may miss the biggest match of the season, against Princeton Feb. 15.

Moving into the number two position will be junior Bill Morris; everyone else on the squad moves up a notch with sophomore Peter Brooks moving into the number nine spot.

The intercollegiate schedule offers no special problems for the Crimson after the Princeton match, but Williams is a key man in Harvard's plans for defending its national team championship, Feb 21-3.
