Junior Don Sadoski's punt returns provided the chief thrills in the Harvard JV's lopsided win over Penn here Saturday, 42-14.

The first half was comparatively even, and the Varsity B's boasted only a 147 edge at halftime. Quarterback George Lalich sneaked for the first touchdown and fullback Joe McKinney bulled over for the second after the Quakers had tied the score.

Halfback Ken O'Connell picked up important yardage on both of the Crimson first-half drives.

Sadoski helped Harvard tear the game apart in the third quarter. He returned the second-half kickoff to the Penn 23, setting up McKinney's second touchdown plunge.

Passes from Lalich to O'Connell and Tony Smith, the latter for a touchdown, raised the score to 28-7. The game was put on ice by Sadoski's 88 yard scoring runback of Penn's ensuing punt.

Harvard registered its final tally following the recovery of a Harvard punt that bounced off the helmet of a Penn blocker. Paul Saba went in for the score, and John Beaulieu converted for the sixth straight time to run the final margin to 42-14.
