The Harvard varsity football team placed five players, including Captain Don Chiofaro, on the 1967 All-Ivy League Football team announced yesterday by the Associated Press.

Halfback Vic Gatto, the 185-pound junior who became one of Harvard's greatest ground gainers, was one of two Crimson players to make the all-star team on offense. The other was guard A1 Bersin.

In addition to Chiofaro, Harvard placed two defensive players on the team. Half-back Tom Williamson and end Bob Hoff-man were the others chosen.

It was the second year in a row for Chiofaro as an All-Ivy selection. He was the only repeater on this year's squad.

Undefeated Yale led the league with six players on the squad, including quarterback Brian Dowling and two other members of the offensive backfield. Harvard was second with five and Dartmouth third with four.
