B.U. Freshmen Edge Harvard Skaters, 6-5

The Harvard freshman hockey team's late rally failed to catch a talented Boston University squad yesterday afternoon at Watson Rink, and the Yardlings fell, 6-5.

Although Yardling Dave Hynes' fourth goal at 18:28 of the last period narrowed the Terrier lead to one, further Crimson attempts to tie the score went unrewarded.

The Harvard stickmen, who never held the lead, staged many rallies in the contest, but all were thwarted by untimely penalties and, in most cases, by B.U. goals scored while the Yardlings were shorthanded.

The Crimson's attack was seriously impeded for most of the game by sloppy passing and difficulty getting the puck out of its own zone. B.U. displayed extremely aggressive play in the Harvard zone and scored four of its goals amidst confusion around the Crimson net.

Billy Flynn led the Terrier attack by equaling Hynes' four-goal production.
