Design School

The student-faculty assembly of the Graduate School of Design will refuse to send any representative to President Pusey's 68-man crisis advisory group.

No reason for the refusal was formally adopted at the assembly meeting yesterday, but a motion tabled until Friday criticizes the advisory group for not including members with a broad range of opinion and for lacking decision-making power.

The School of Design assembly does not have legal authority. It is still possible that the Design School faculty will decide on its own to send delegates to Pusey's committee. But William A. Doebele Jr., acting dean of the Design School, has stated he will not appoint a student representative without consulting the student body.

The assembly also voted to strike until Friday morning in support of the Soldiers' Field resolutions.
