The Harvard Response, a bi-monthly magazine now soliciting student opinions and articles, has run into financial difficulties and may never go to press.

Gerald Storch '77, Editor-in-Chief, said yesterday the Response staff hoped to publish its first issue by February 17, but was not able to raise sufficient funds. In order to publish, the magazine would need at least $600, he said.

The 15 members of the staff have come up with several possible solutions to their problems, Storch said. They are presently looking for large contributors to give over $100 each toward the paper's first issue. They also are tentatively planning a debate between professors for which they will charge admission.
