Ray Leone, the new head coach of the Harvard women’s soccer team, announced Wednesday that his wife, Tracey, will be joining the Crimson coaching staff as an assistant.
Tracey brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to Cambridge, having won three world championships playing with the U.S. National Team and one as a coach of the under-19 National Team.
The husband-wife duo coached together most recently at Arizona State University, where they compiled a 60-45-4 record.
Leone, who was named head coach in February after previous coach Erica Walsh departed for Penn State University, announced in March that Katie Shields ‘06, who starred in goal for four seasons with the Crimson, will also join the team’s coaching staff as an assistant.
