It was only the second time that the Crimson defeated a No. 2 ranked team since coach Chris Wojcik ’96 joined the program in 2011.

Athlete of the Week: Hong and Hendrix Carry Offensive Attack

At the recent CWPA Championships held at Blodgett Pool, both a rookie and an outgoing senior led the Harvard women’s water polo team to a sixth-place finish, stepping up for the team in the wake of a rash of injuries that left several other key players out of the pool.

Athlete of the Week: Clemens' Performance Helps Extend Men's Volleyball's Season

Athlete of the Week: Cabe Surrenders One Run Against Two Ivy Foes

As Harvard softball begins its Ivy League slate, the team finds itself jostling for position within the league, tied with four other teams with a 2-2 record. This past weekend at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C., Thomas set three new Ivy records, the most notable being a then-NCAA best time of 23.18 seconds in the 200-meter dash—good enough to automatically qualify for the 2016 Olympic Trials.

This weekend, freshman Meagan Popp helped the women’s swimming and diving team to its 12th Ivy League championship. At the meet, she set three school records in the 200 IM, 100 breast, and 200 breast events, resulting in a first, second, and tied for first placement, respectively. But several other Crimson athletes also had stellar performances this week as well.

Athlete of the Week: Popp's Performance Leads Women's Swimming and Diving to Ivy Title

Athlete of the Week: Tissenbaum Records First Career Shutout

When junior goalie Molly Tissenbaum skated out onto the ice on Friday night, she was making just her second career start for the No. 8/7 Harvard women’s ice hockey team against the 2014 national champions Clarkson. Cue the nerves? Tissenbaum was already in the zone.

Athlete of the Week: Fischer's Big Day Helps Football Take Down Princeton
