Men's Golf Battles Injuries, Places 10th at Doc Gimmler

With a third of the roster sidelined in total, the Crimson tripped to Farmingdale, New York, and teed off at the annual Doc Gimmler tournament. Able to field just four players instead of the typical five, the team would limp to a 10th-place finish in its first competitive tournament this year.


A Trip to the Doc

The Crimson hopes to get its full roster back from the injury reserve and will need to do so in order to compete in the Ivy League. Nevertheless, there were individual bright spots at Doc Gimmler this weekend that Harvard can look to build on.

This weekend appeared to be a golden opportunity for a three-peat, as the team was tied for first entering the final day of play, but it was not to be. Harvard slipped to a third place finish after a difficult final round.

Mixed Bag for Men's Golf at the Princeton Invitational

​After a difficult start to the spring season at the Furman Invitational two weeks back, the Harvard Men’s golf swapped South Carolina for New Jersey, stumbling to a seventh-place finish at the Princeton Invitational.


Men's Golf Finishes Middle of the Pack in Furman Tournament

The men’s golf team started its spring season off at the Furman Intercollegiate Tournament in Greensboro, S.C., finishing 15th out of 21 teams. Fellow Ivy competitors Dartmouth and Yale both finished above the Crimson.


Men's Golf Earns Third at Quechee Club Collegiate Chall

In its second competition of the fall season, the Harvard men’s golf team finished third at the Quechee Club Collegiate Chall with strong performances from multiple players. The current Ivy League champions finished with 586 points, behind rivals Princeton (571 points), and winners Drexel (570) – hosts Dartmouth finished 8th out of 14.

After two rounds of play Saturday and Sunday, the Crimson emerged from the pack of 15 schools with a second-place finish.


Men's Golf Finishes Second at Furman Intercollegiate

​Fresh off a spring break trip to Georgia and South Carolina, the Harvard men’s golf team headed back south this weekend, participating in the Furman Intercollegiate in Greenville, S.C. After 72 holes of play over two days, the Crimson came away with a second-place finish.
