"When the scouting report by the men’s soccer team came out earlier this year, it was a blow not only to the members of the women’s soccer team; I think all women at Harvard connected to the world of sports were impacted by it."
The Harvard women’s hockey team’s only win this season before Tuesday night had come on October 23 at Dartmouth. On Tuesday night in Bright-Landry Hockey Arena, the Crimson faced off against the Big Green and were able to garner a similar result, coming through with a 2-1 win.
Dropping Friday night contest and tying Saturday afternoon dropped the Crimson even farther down the ECAC ladder.
The Harvard women’s hockey team doesn’t believe in rebuilding years. After graduating five seniors last year and recruiting six new freshmen to the ice in Cambridge, the team is prepared to prove wrong those who view the 2016-2017 season as one solely for growth.
